Reported road casualties in Great Britain for the latest year, broken down by local authority, region and country, from the Department for Transport's annual STATS19 collection. Covers all reported casualties (every severity, actual police-reported counts), reported road deaths (within 30 days), and Killed-or-Seriously-Injured (KSI) using the DfT severity-adjusted estimate — the comparable headline measure that corrects for police forces moving to injury-based reporting systems at different times.

Methodology
Figures are taken verbatim from the Department for Transport "Reported road casualties Great Britain, annual report" statistical data tables (RAS0101, RAS0402, RAS0403), which are compiled from Police STATS19 collision records. All-severity casualty and road-death counts are the actual reported figures; Killed-or-Seriously-Injured uses the DfT severity-adjusted estimate, which is necessary because GB police forces adopted injury-based severity-reporting systems (CRASH/COPA) at different times. No figures are modelled, weighted or interpolated by GeraSure. Local-authority rankings on the site are pure derivations (ordering only) of the published counts.
