1. Introduction
GeraSure is operated by Gera Systems (registered in England and Wales). These Terms govern use of gerasure.com and our mobile applications.
Insurance Intermediary Notice: GeraSure acts as an insurance intermediary. We facilitate access to insurance products — we are not an insurer. Insurance contracts are between you and the regulated insurer. GeraSure is working towards FCA authorisation as an Appointed Representative or directly authorised firm.
2. Our Services
GeraSure is a microinsurance platform enabling users to obtain affordable, flexible insurance products (health, device, travel, life, and more) from regulated insurance partners worldwide. We compare, quote, and facilitate purchase — the insurance contract and claims handling are managed by the underlying insurer.
3. Your Obligations
- You must answer all insurance application questions truthfully and completely
- Failure to disclose material information may invalidate your policy (duty of fair presentation under the Insurance Act 2015)
- Notify us and the insurer of any material changes to your circumstances during the policy period
- Minimum age 18
4. Policy Cancellation
Cooling-off period: 14 days from policy start or receipt of policy documents (whichever is later) for most insurance products, in line with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and FCA rules.
After the cooling-off period, cancellation terms are set by the individual insurer and stated in your policy documents.
5. Claims
Claims are handled by the underlying insurer. GeraSure provides support in submitting claims but does not make claims decisions. If you disagree with a claims decision, you may escalate to the insurer's complaints procedure and then to the Financial Ombudsman Service (where applicable).
6. Premium Payments
Premiums processed via Stripe. GeraSure earns a commission from insurers on policies sold (not an additional charge to you). Commission amounts are disclosed on request.
7. Limitation of Liability
GeraSure is not liable for claims decisions made by insurers. Our liability as intermediary is limited to our commission received from the insurer for the relevant policy. Consumer Rights Act 2015 rights are unaffected.
8. Complaints
Complaints about GeraSure's intermediary service: complaints@gerasure.com. We aim to resolve within 8 weeks. Unresolved complaints may be referred to the Financial Ombudsman Service (once FCA authorised) or the relevant supervisory authority.
